Riad Taroudant is an authentic Moroccan riad, located in the centre of the Berber town of Taroudant, also known as “Little Marrakech”, capital city of the province of the same name, in the middle of the Souss Valley in South Morocco. Entirely rebuilt in 2008, it offers great comfort while remaining faithful to the local Berber style.

Comprising 16 air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and satellite TV, it offers customers a whole range of facilities : a swimming pool for hot summer days, a charming authentic Turkish bath as well as open fireplaces for colder winter evenings, a sun-drenched roof terrace and a traditional Moroccan restaurant serving tagines, salads, couscous and kebabs. The owners, Sven and Fouzia, will be happy to welcome you and if you so wish to organise outings in or outside of town. What with the souks, the mountains, the sea one hour away and the comfort of the riad, all is here for you to enjoy a wonderful stay with us.

Outside the riad, a number of activities are on offer, such as visiting the souks, the tannery, the olive oil-mill with its millstone still pulled by a donkey, or discovering one of the most ancient kasbah in all Morocco. If you feel like some entertainment, you can choose between horse-riding, swimming in mountain springs, visiting Tiout oasis…

Taroudant and its surroundings offer a wealth of wonders to be discovered, such as artisans workshops, narrow sheltered lanes, a magnificent countryside with its orange and banana groves, vegetable growing as well as the High Atlas and the Anti Atlas in the background with their snow-capped summits in winter, among which the Toubkal, the highest peak in Maghreb.

Visiting the town in a horse-drawn carriage is also a pleasant way of being surprised and when you are tired of roaming around, the riad will provide peace, quiet and rest in the swimming-pool or the Turkish bath, close to a open fire or in the cool breeze on the terrace.
