Taroudant is the capital city of the Souss area, Morocco’s granary. Crossroad of the south, it offers various highly interesting activities, be it in its immediate neighborhood or further away, depending on the season. The burning heat of summer will have you seek the cool of Tiout’s palm grove or that of mountain springs where you can bathe. The ocean will allow you to enjoy beach activities, bathing, jet skiing among others, less than an hour away from Taroudant. The blooming of spring is an invitation to walks or bike rides in the countryside, in the middle of grain fields, colourful orchards, and exotic palm trees. Autumn and winter, cooler in temperature, will allow you to practice sports such as hiking in the High Atlas accompanied if you so wish by a local guide who will be happy to make you discover his country and invite you to have tea with the inhabitants, in mountain homes. Needless to say that these outings in high altitudes are particularly picturesque.

In any season, Taroudant and the region around it are worth a few days’ stay, what with all that is to be discovered and the great number of good memories that you will take back home with you.
